Wilmington, DE, Dec. 12, 2005 - - The Pulp and Paper Division of Hercules Incorporated has announced the opening of its new Helsingborg Technical Center (HTC) in January 2006.

The 600 square meter facility, situated adjacent to Hercules’ existing production plant, will provide problem-solving support to Hercules Pulp and Paper Division customers in Europe and Asia.  Approximately 20 technical staff with expertise in analytical chemistry, microbiology, papermaking and paper testing applications will be based at the Technical Center.

In close proximity to the technology leaders in the Nordic region, the HTC demonstrates Hercules’ commitment to the pulp and paper industry.  Ensuring continuity of Hercules’ pulp and paper experience, technology innovation and communication in the languages of our customers has been a key emphasis throughout the staffing process.
